Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Pyjamas Zebra Jumbo Long Bracelet Stunning Conditions

This is likely one of the best-preserved Audemars Piguet 4274 models—also known as the “Zebra” or “Pajama.” Only 300 of these watches were ever produced, and one is on display at the Audemars Piguet Museum. Celebrities like John Mayer, a self-proclaimed vintage watch enthusiast, have this model in their collections. The reference was produced in the early 1980s. In addition to the large version with nine gold stripes offered here, there is also a smaller version with seven gold stripes. What makes this piece special is its exceptional condition; you’ll rarely find another one like it.

Condition

As mentioned earlier, the watch is in excellent condition—only minor scratches and signs of wear are visible. The edges of the case are very sharp, all angles are as they should be, and all surfaces are flat and flawless. The bezel has not been polished down either. The dial is in very good condition, and the single-sided polished hands are perfectly preserved. The crown blends seamlessly into the overall design. The strap is in excellent condition, and the watch fits an 18.5 cm wrist as is. The clasp also still offers noticeable resistance, suggesting it hasn’t been worn too frequently. According to the previous owner, the watch was serviced a few years ago; it runs very well and without any issues. Only the watch is being sold, in our travel case.
