For sale is an incredibly rare Cartier Baignoire, reference 78094, featuring the raised double-stepped case. What makes this reference special is its size—at 22 mm wide, it’s comfortable enough for men to wear and very popular. Also worth noting: The original Paris dial is in excellent condition, which is rarely the case with older Baignoires.

As mentioned earlier, the dial is in excellent condition, as you can clearly see in the photos. The hands show age-appropriate patina. The Plexiglas has a scratch between 12 and 1 o’clock. The case has signs of wear and scratches, but no deep dents or chips. Based on the back, one might assume that the watch has never been polished—deep engravings and hallmarks, along with sharp angles, point exactly to that. The crown is also in great condition. The movement is clean, runs great, and was recently serviced. You’ll receive the watch on a generic strap that’s been cut to appear wider. It features a steel Chopard clasp. The watch comes to you in a Cartier travel case.
