Here we have a super beautiful Patek Philippe Reference 3796R - The reference 3796R is inspired by the iconic design of the original Calatrava from the 1930s. Among collectors, this reference is also known as the last classic Calatrava. The main reason for this is its proportions, which are directly related to the legendary reference 96. The watch has a diameter of 31 mm. Typical of Calatrava, it features a smooth bezel and a drilled minute track. The R at the end of the reference stands for the material, in this case rose gold.

Condition
The case is in untouched conditions, means it has been worn and therefore it has marks, but it has not been polished. So the case preserves the factory finish, has super sharp lug hole and chamfers, the bezel is not polished round and all gaps are there and sharp. On the caseback you can see the engraving by a previous owner, but also pretty sharp untouched hall marks. The pin buckle also has signs of wear, but is the correct rose gold one from that era matching the watch. The dial has no scratches or so and remains in untouched conditions, under studio light you can see a very sublime patina on the dial, which is not visible in natural light. The hands have created a dark rose gold tone. The crown is sharp and nice. You will get the watch in its original box with another Patek Philippe strap (if you are outside the EU it comes head only)
