Here we have another Patek Philippe Ellipse Reference 3848 in excellent condition. The Ellipse is one of the three pillars of Patek Philippe: the Ellipse, the Nautilus, and the Calatrava. With its stunning dark blue sunburst dial contrasting with the gold case and its perfect proportions, it is already a true classic.

Condition
The case shows slight signs of wear but is in excellent vintage condition. The hallmarks on the back are clearly visible, the bevel on the caseback is very sharp, and the engravings have not been polished away. The dial is in very good condition; the hands show slight oxidation. The 18k yellow gold clasp is well-preserved; only the strap should be replaced soon—I’d be happy to help with that. The watch comes in its Patek Philippe box; no other accessories are included. The service history is unknown, but the watch runs smoothly and reliably.
