Rolex
I find datejusts quite nice, but there are few that I really like. This 1989 L-Serial is one of them, because it has two things that stand out: Engine turned bezels and the dial with a great patina. The fluted bezels are often seen, but engine turned versions are increasingly rare and always nice to look at. The dial is also often called 'creamy dreamy', because it got a slightly creamy/coral patina over the years. The patina combined with the Roman numerals and bezel come out just great!

Condition
The case is in good condition, but I'm sure it was polished at one time, and the contours are still very nice. I would leave it as is, but should you want to polish it there is still plenty of meat. The crown and bezel are also very nicely preserved. The dial has a nice patina to it. Between 2 and 3 o'clock the minute track is a little off, but thanks to the loupe this is hardly noticeable as there is a lot going on there. The hands are also in good condition. Hands and dial are covered with tritium. The bracelet lasts for 18.5cm, has little stretch and one more link. The clasp code dates appropriately to 1989. Service history unknown, the watch runs slightly in the plus range making 10s/d with a strong amplitude. You will receive the watch, the box without cushion, one link, the purchase papers from a dealer from 2021 with invoice, and service papers from Rolex Cologne from 1999.
